Thanks for visiting! The site started in the web prehistory of 1998. Back then it was only a few pages wrapped around the HaloSim halo simulation software. It's still occasionally being extended with its sister site Optics Picture of the Day. I've enjoyed putting the site together, learning more about the different sky phenomena while doing so and seeing your wonderful pictures. It has been a privilege to include them on the site.. |
