Noctilucent Clouds, Finland  Imaged by Jari Luomanen (site) at Kangasala 12/13th July '08. This summer Europe and Asia are having prolonged displays of 50 mile high noctilucent clouds and they extend further south than usual, some have even been seen over Turkey and Iran. North American watchers have seen them in Utah - again further south than usual.
