Polarized light bathes us. It is of the blue sky, even of grey clouds, rainbows and the glory. Ice in the sky separately polarizes rays to double sundogs. Iceland spar is more extreme, polarizing and dramatically doubling objects. Butterflies and other creatures use polarization. It manifests wherever there are reflections.
