Noctilucent Clouds, Schlägl, Austria. The intense display of 14th July 2006 pictured in this panorama by Kark Kaiser (site). The display, seen between 03:20 and 04:10 (sunrise 05:17), extended ~120° in azimuth and reached 45° high, showing that NLCs are not confined to high latitudes.
